I chortle...

Dear Phyllis...

I'ts been a while...um well kinda. I went home and the stupid internet wasn't working. But now i'm back at my gandma's coz nobody loves me haha.

Well how was my weekend? Lets jst say I think hitting my fingers with a hammer would be more productive and even fun?... No? Okay well going home was a bad idea, a very ry bad idea. All my family did was fight :( But I did go for a walk to town with my dogs. Haha there was this little dog that followed us and it was so happy it peed like everywhere....I rofled.

I finished Marley and Me and it made me bawl. It was a beautiful book. I also finished Guananamo Boy like 2 hours ago. Then I googled the Geneva Convention, intending on reading it. Yer as if...Click here to try.

I am intending on buying a new iPod. The one I have is gay and holds like no songs. I bought it like 3 years ago to listen to music when I was training. (This was when I was training as a runner and such.) I want to get an iPod touch.

Oh we go to Melbourne in 2 weeks today. Crap its my brothers bithday in 5 days and my mums in 6....better get them something.

Dear Phyllis...

BORED BORED BORED. Guess what I did today...absolutely NOTHING!
haha well I did something...like breathing and eating. I also vacuumed the inside of my grandmas car, watched some youtube videos, read some of 'Marley and Me' and packed to go home. How dull.

Oh and I ran into Woody's at like 1pm to buy bread. Did I mention I was in my pyjamas?

OHMYGODDDD... I downloaded BRAND NEW EYES BY PARAMORE
Absolutely the greatest band on the planet.

Just a little about yours truly...

Heyo interwebs...

Instead of some random stranger on the internet telling you all about her life, I want to be some random stranger on the internet telling you all about her life...umm well?

I thought I would tell you all about myself..(when I say all...i mean like anything and everything could come out)

So let me introduce myself..

• My name is Pixii...It is lovely to meet you :) [NOTE: Pixii is not a real name, it is the name I take on as a pseudonym to give me a kind of anomyty on the internet. Everything I talk about is true...just not my name, I do hope you can understand :).]
• On the 24/09/09 I am exactly 14 years and 13 days old.
• I am about 157cm tall so about 5'2"feets.
• I am currently tanned (yes the sunburn turned into a killer tan :D)
• Right now my hair is a dark red (not like ranga) and its short at the back and longer at the front.
• I am naturally brunette but I change my hair colour all the time (last time it was auburn and the time before it was a purpley blackish colour.)
• I straighten my hair and put makeup on everyday even if i'm not goin out. This consists of base cover, foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and sometimes glitter. I pull this off without looking like a tramp...trust me ;)
• Even though I straighten my hair and wear makeup I am in no way girly. I own one skirt (my school skirt) and four dresses (of which two are school dresses). The only kind of bottoms i own are denim..no joke. I swim in denim.
• I play lots of sports. Over the years I have played soccer, judo, touch football, athletics, cricket, AFL, swimming...In every one of them I played in representative teams. Insoccer, athletics, touch and judo I got into state level and in judo I am national champion in Australia.
• I live in a house with my mum and dad, my two little brothers who are 9 and 12, and my two dogs, Harriet and Jack.
• I go to the gayest school in the world. It is an all girls boarding school. I am a day girl.
• I am in Grade 9
• I study japanese, art, english, sose, science, religion, maths and p.e.
• I am smart academically. I am especially good at english. When I grow up I either want to study law or english litterature at university.
• I like to read. I like reading war stories, bibliographies and memoirs, plays (like shakespeare) and books from the victorian era.
• I am a catholic and I go to church...sometimes.
• I love music. I mainly listen to alternative rock that nobody has ever heard of. Paramore is my favourite band ever...I have loved them since I was 10 when I bought their album 'All We Know Is Falling'. I also like indie music. I listen to alot of TripleJ.
• I'm always hurting myself because I am extremely clumsy. I am only just recovering from two concussions that gave me post-concussion syndrome. I have a huge scar on my knee thats still healing from when I fell off a scooter.
• I have behaviour issues. I have too much of an opinion and I like to disagree with people. I'm extremely loud.
• I wish I was from the UK and had an English accent.
• I want to go to Rome. I want to got to the Vatican.
• I want to go on a pilgrimage to Santiago di Compestela.
• One day I am going to marry Josh Farro.
• I have been to six different schools.
• I like watching youtube videos. My favourite youtubers are shanedawson, charlieissocoollike, amazingphil, sxephil, livelavalive, charlestrippy, hurricaneaubrey, kassemG, Shaycarl, ijustine, mychonny, communitychannel and lots of others.
• I like decorating my myspace. Mine right now is pretty artistic.
• I like going to parties. I like to drink alcholic beverages but I do not like getting smashed...although that one time with the bonfire and the boat.
• I play the drums, the clarinet and the violin.
• I like exotic food. Tonight for dinner we are have mongolian..i think thats like chinese.
• I have already bought tickets to see the midnight viewing of New Moon on the 19/11/09.
• I'm cool.

So this was pretty random...dinner now.

Dear Phyllis...

It's 2:01pm and I've already had a pretty exciting day. Well actually not really. Today I got up off my lazy ass at like 9am and went bike riding :D. I was out of reading material so I rode all the way to the local library (exactly 3.7km away on google maps) and back...so i rode like 7.4km. At the library I got two books...'Marley and Me' and 'Guantanamo Boy' and a CD. The CD is called The Cure by The Cure...it was recorded in like 2005 or something but I like it :) After I rode home I had a Popsicle. So you may be asking why didn't I just go in the car... 1. My grandma had the car so she couldn't take me and 2. It is all part of my fitness/diet/getting healthy regime yay :)....oh wait I probably shouldn't have had the ice block :S

Anyways I think I might watch psyco after I finish this post...

I think maybe next week sometime i will have like a post each dedicated to telling you about my favourite music, movies and show (no plural coz I only have one favourite show XD)...how interesting for you.

500 Days of Summer Review :)

Okay so I stole some...

'Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl Doesn't.'

This is a story of boy meets girl, begins the wry, probing narrator of 500 Days of Summer, and with that the film takes off at breakneck speed into a funny, true-to-life and unique dissection of the unruly and unpredictable year-and-a-half of one young man’s no-holds-barred love affair.

Tom, the boy, still believes, even in this cynical modern world, in the notion of a transforming, cosmically destined, lightning-strikes-once kind of love. Summer, the girl, doesn’t. Not at all. But that doesn’t stop Tom from going after her, again and again, like a modern Don Quixote, with all his might and courage. Suddenly, Tom is in love not just with a lovely, witty, intelligent woman – not that he minds any of that -- but with the very idea of Summer, the very idea of a love that still has the power to shock the heart and stop the world.

My review now, that was just some background stuff....

This movies was pretty much the best movie I have seen this year...and I watch a lots of movies. The cinematography and the music was absolutely awesome. But the story itself is a tad tragic but also heartwarming. The movie can be confusing at times but its all part of the magic...just watch and see. The characters take you on an almost too realist journey of theyre lives in a span of 500 days showing you love, lost and a wonderful friendship in an all too real world. Some of the scenes were cheesy but thats what made them funny and nice...one of them reminded me so much of that show Eli Stone.

Just my opinion..i may be totally wrong and don't understand at all...but i am just 14. Voice yourself in the comments if you dissagree, I would much love some feedback. xx

Dear Phyllis...

Today was fricken awsum XD....(NOTE: total recap coming)

I always like going out with my friends...shopping and movies and hanging around and all that crap...well today we decided we would go into Rocky and watch '[500] Days of Summer' (gonna do a review on another blog.)

So we went up at about 11am because the movie started at 3:30pm so we had lots of time to shop.
^Okay so recently 2 shopping centres in Rockhampton joined and a whole lotta shops were added so we were all excited to see them together and stuff...we got there and it was kinda dissappointing...^
It was kinda small but there were still some pretty good shops.
So for about two and a half hours we all looked around and shopped and that. I bought a top with an elephant on it from Ally XD.
So we were being very amused by clothes and jewellery and all that kinda crap...oh by the way the fashion now really sucks, i wouldnt be caught dead wearing light floaty flowery crap. Anyways we got hungry...but on the way to the food court i stopped at Sanity (the movies and music shop) and noticed in my wallet i still had 10 bucks on a gift card...and guess what I bought...PSYCO! haha i love this movie :D
After a healthy lunch of hot chips and potato gems we went to Big W and bought skittles and energy drinks. Then we got chocolate frappes and headed off to the movies.
500 Days of Summer...was actually pretty good. I think it was made better by the fact that my friends was extremely sugar and caffene high and she was fricken hilarious...but I quite enjoyed it and the cinematography was very good.
The ride home was also pretty funny...being still pretty g-uped on sugar and stuff one conversation melted and yelled into the next and you could barely understand a word anyone was saying haha.

Well i'm bored of typing so I guess I will start my review on 500 Days of Summer and finish my skittles and go to bed.

Oh and i'd like to mention a really good band called All Time Low...they did a really amazing cover of that Rihanna song umbrella....pretty sweet!
